What do I need to do after getting a tattoo?
Your tattoo artist will provide specific aftercare instructions. Generally, you should protect the tattoo from direct sunlight, avoid prolonged soaking, and use no petroleum-based products initially. We offer professional tattoo aftercare products at WANDAL ART to ensure optimal healing.
Does it really hurt to get a tattoo, and why?
Yes, getting a tattoo involves some pain. The tattoo needle pierces your skin at a controlled speed, deep enough to ensure the tattoo's permanence but not so deep as to cause excessive damage. The sensation is a result of the needle penetrating the dermis layer of your skin.
Is it safe to get a tattoo?
Absolutely. We ensure every tool and piece of equipment is sterilized or disposable. All needles/cartridges are single-use, opened in front of you for assured safety.
What kind of tattoo designs can I choose from?
Our artists offer both pre-made designs and custom pieces. Pre-made designs are available at special prices and can be viewed on Instagram at www.instagram.com/wandal.tattoo and www.instagram.com/saintwandal For custom designs, contact us via our website form. We respect originality and do not replicate other artists' work.
Small tattoos start from £100, with larger projects priced by hour or session. Prices depend on design complexity, size, and tattoo location. Contact us for a personalized quote.
How much does a tattoo cost?
You must be over 18 and provide valid photo ID (Passport or Driving License) to get a tattoo at WANDAL ART.
Can I bring someone with me for support?
You're welcome to bring one person to wait in our reception area, but for health and safety, we can't allow extra visitors in the treatment areas.
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
WANDAL ART operates primarily by appointment. Occasionally, same-day appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee a specific time or day, it's best to book in advance via email at www@saintwandal.com or our online form.
Do you do walk-in appointments?
It's important to disclose any skin conditions or allergies before getting tattooed. In some cases, we may request a note from your doctor. Our priority is your safety, so we'll work with you to assess the suitability of a tattoo for your specific condition.
Can I get a tattoo if I have a skin condition or allergies?
ALTE WANDAL and the WANDAL ART team specialize in a variety of styles but all they are Custom and done in Artistic way, including but not limited to neo traditional, realism, neo japanese, and black work with fine line art. What styles of tattoos do you specialize in?
Tattooing over scars is possible in many cases, but it depends on the age and nature of the scar. It's best to consult with us directly, so we can assess the scar in person and provide the best advice.
Can I get a tattoo over a scar?

How do I book an appointment?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 14 Days in advance of the actual day of the Appointment with Wandal. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment within a specific timeframe.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer cover-up and rework services. Each case is unique, so we recommend booking a consultation to discuss your options and what can be achieved.
Can you cover up or rework an old tattoo?
We recommend that you are well-rested, have eaten, and are hydrated before your appointment. Avoid alcohol and blood thinners for 24 hours before getting tattooed.
Is there anything I should do or avoid before my tattoo appointment?
We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Full payment is required upon completion of the tattoo.
